Connection service is down warning

Getting a "connection service is down" warning in VPN Super?

What this error means

You'll see a warning message about a "connection service issue" when VPN Super can't establish a connection to the servers. This is typically a temporary glitch that happens in rare cases.

Troubleshooting steps

Step 1: Restart your PC

This fixes the issue most of the time.

  1. Close VPN Super completely
  2. Restart your computer
  3. Open VPN Super and try connecting

Most connection service errors are resolved after a simple restart.

Step 2: Reinstall the app

If restarting doesn't solve it:

  1. Go to Windows Settings > Apps
  2. Find "VPN Super" in the list
  3. Click "Uninstall"
  4. Download the latest version
  5. Double-click the installer and follow the setup instructions
  6. Sign in to your Account
  7. Try connecting again

Don't worry—your Account and subscription stay the same when you reinstall.
